Despite the huge funds (hundreds of millions) to be spend on different things in Romania between 2007 - 2013, it seems they think it's OK to spend a few bucks on what I hope is going to turn out to be very much more expensive.

It doesn't help the presence of important FOSS vendors is very weak around here, for example at eLiberatica it was supposed to be present a Red Hat partner (http://redhat.sns.ro/) but the guy had something else to do in that day and didn't show up.

WTF? the 7-th largest country in the EU population wise and the best Red Hat presence is a small local company held by a guy who usually do Debian but is making money with Red Hat when he can?

On top of that, the corruption in the public administration is so widely spread that small companies have no chance.
